British Standard Mortice Locks

This TSS British Standard BS3621:2007 5 lever mortice sashlock has black powder coating with rounded forend with square faceplate.

The box strike is colour matched to faceplate for an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Anti-drill hardened plate fitted to the case to provide additional protection from attack, deadbolt features hardened anti-saw rollers to provide a higher level of security.

With an easily reversible latch bolt there is no need to open lock case.

Can be keyed alike with both deadlocks and sashlocks but not suitable for master keying.

These locks meet the requirements of British Standard BS3621:2007. To meet this standard, products undergo rigorous testing. Featuring 5 levers, anti drill and anti saw features, these are a high quality and high security mortice lock. The case has an anti-drill hardened plate, which makes it robust and provides additional protection against attack

In line with a number of other mortice locks, these locks feature a black lock case but they have unique measurements that identify them from other mortice locks. Please refer to the line drawing for details.

The TSS Upright retro fit mortice dead lock is designed with the same dimensions as classic upright mortice dead locks. These locks feature levers, rather than detainers.

The measurements are the same as the Union lock, so can act as a replacement, but there are some important differences. The first and most obvious, is that they have a traditional 5 lever design, rather than detainers.  Please also note that the escutcheons are round, rather than square, as supplied by Union.

These locks have the distinctive upright design and meet the requirements of British Standard BS3621: 2007.  To meet the requirements of British Standard BS3621, the deadbolt throws at least 20mm from the body of the lock to ensure positive deadlocking and additional resistance against attack.

This British Standard TSS 5 lever mortice deadlock has been designed with the same dimensions as classic mortice dead locks with a 40mm backset.

These TSS mortice dead locks meet the requirements of British Standard BS3621:2007. To meet this standard, products undergo rigorous testing. Featuring 5 levers, anti-drill and anti-saw features, these are a high quality and high security mortice lock.

These locks feature a blue lock case but they have unique measurements that identify them from other mortice locks. While the case width features standard 67mm (2.5″) and 79mm (3″) sizes, the backset measures just 40mm on the 67mm width case and 53mm on the 79mm width case. Please refer to the line drawing for details.
