TSS British Standard Retro Fit 5 Lever Upright Mortice Deadlock

The TSS Upright retro fit mortice dead lock is designed with the same dimensions as classic upright mortice dead locks. These locks feature levers, rather than detainers.

The measurements are the same as the Union lock, so can act as a replacement, but there are some important differences. The first and most obvious, is that they have a traditional 5 lever design, rather than detainers.  Please also note that the escutcheons are round, rather than square, as supplied by Union.

These locks have the distinctive upright design and meet the requirements of British Standard BS3621: 2007.  To meet the requirements of British Standard BS3621, the deadbolt throws at least 20mm from the body of the lock to ensure positive deadlocking and additional resistance against attack.
