The ACT5e PROX digital keypad is a simple to use and easy to install standalone access control product for a single door. The unit combines a keypad with a proximity card reader system for up to 50 individual user codes and 50 cards or fobs. Keypad backlighting enhances functionality at night or in poor light conditions. Keypad is contained in a stylish polycarbonate housing, with stainless steel keys and potted electronics, allowing for indoor and outdoor installation. The ACT 5e PROX may be surface or flush mounted on to a standard single gang electrical back box. Supplied boxed.

The 7400 Ultraline range suits single doors and can operate under 15kg of side-load pressure. It can be retrofitted to previous Adams Rite strikes, and operates at 12 or 24v AC or DC. Often used to help satisfy the requirements of Doc M, the release requires half the force to open than the 7100 series release. It can be used on either 12v or 24v DC supply by following the correct wiring instructions for the application. It is easily field reversible between fail-safe and fail-secure operation. The ANSI style release has a high holding force and is built to a high standard for higher traffic and commercial applications. The additional RM1 rectifier (available separately) allows the release to be run on AC power if required, which is convenient if being used with some AC door entry systems.

The majority of push button locks require the keypad to be physically removed, the tumblers taken out of the lock itself and rearranged. This is a slow procedure and due to the mechanisms, can lead to the lock being damaged and/or failing.
